Bodily Injury (100/300)

Bodily Injury Liability, protects you when you create bodily harm to another party. So for example, if you have an at-fault accident and injure a person in another car. Your policy will pay out $100,000 per person, not to exceed $300,000 per total accident. Check out our video to learn about what happens if you don't have enough coverage.

Property Damage (100)

Property Damage Liability, covers you for when you damage someone else's personal property as the result of an at-fault accident. So for example, if you rear-ended a car and the car you hit drifted into another car. You would then be responsible for fixing or replacing all necessary damages.

Medical Payments (5000)

Medical Payments Coverage pays out in the event you are injured in an accident. Whether or not it's your fault. This is immediate money paid to you in order to help pay for initial medical costs (co-pays, deductibles, etc..), until the claim can be finally settled. This is a state regulated coverage, so by law, you either have to accept the coverage or reject it.

Collision Coverage (500)

This is the coverage that comes into play when you have an at-fault accident and then want YOUR vehicle fixed. The Insurance company typically pays out to fix your vehicle or in the result of a total loss the Insurance company will pay out actual cash value or market value less your deductible.

Comprehensive Coverage (500)

Your Comprehensive Deductible is what covers you when an accident is NOT your fault. For example, when a hail storm destroys your car you would pay this deductible and the Insurance company would cover anything exceeding the $500 deductible.

Roadside Assistance

Typically Roadside Assistance coverage covers the first "X" amount of dollars of any roadside service you need to get your vehicle back up and running.

Rental Car Reimbursement

Rental Car Reimbursement provides you with a rental for up to 30 days, after your vehicle was affected by a covered peril on the policy. Typically, coverage is provided as $30 per day not to exceed 30 days.

Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist (100/300)

UM/UIM, protects you against drivers, who have very little or no insurance at all. This essentially is the coverage you pay yourself. UM/UIM provides monies for time out of work, rehabilitation, and injuries.

Frequently Asked Questions

How am I covered if things are stolen from my vehicle?

  • Your Auto Policy does not cover you if things are stolen from your vehicle. Your Property Insurance would cover you.

Why did my premium go up?

  • Premiums can fluctuate given multiple factors. For example, if you've recently had an at-fault accident. If the household composition has recently changed i.e.. you removed or added drivers. Also from time to time Insurance Companies need to reevaluate their rates in certain areas. If there have been many storms and claims in a certain area for example, then chances are rates will change moving forward.

Do I have coverage if my windshield is chipped?

  • Most insurance companies offer free chip repair. While other insurance companies offer free glass coverage. Send us an email or give us a call and we can let you know how your policy would cover a chipped windshield.

How am I covered if I slide on black ice and hit something?

  • Generally speaking if you slide on ANY surface, slick or not, the claim will more than likely be listed as an at fault accident and will be covered under your Collision Coverage. Why? Because Insurance companies deem that drivers should be driving as slow and safely as the conditions allow.
